My Childhood Dreams – The Dreams That Continue to Shape My Journey
As children, we all dream differently. Some dream of becoming doctors or pilots, while others imagine magical worlds filled with endless possibilities. My dreams were a mixture of both—some simple, some impossible, and some that continue to guide my life even today.
Looking back through my old diaries, I often find myself smiling. Each page reminds me of the dreams I once wrote down with complete innocence and unwavering belief. As I sit quietly, listening to soft music and reliving those memories, I realize that many of those dreams are still alive within me.
People often say, "Trust your fate." I choose to trust my dreams instead.
Yes, I am a dreamer. But I don't believe dreams are meant to stay inside our imagination. I believe they are goals waiting for courage, patience, and hard work to bring them to life.
One of my biggest childhood dreams was to travel the world without borders. I imagined a future where people could explore any country as easily as taking a bus or train—without passports, visas, or restrictions. It may sound impossible today, but every great change in history once began as someone's impossible dream.
I've always been fascinated by mysteries, forgotten places, ancient civilizations, and unexplored destinations. I never wanted to simply read about them—I wanted to stand there, experience them, and create stories of my own. Nature has always been my greatest inspiration. Mountains, forests, rivers, beaches, and sunrise walks remind me how beautiful and peaceful this world truly is.
Another dream has always been to experience everything life has to offer—not because I seek luxury, but because I want to collect memories. Whether it's visiting an exciting theme park, trekking through the mountains, watching a sunrise, or simply breathing in the fresh scent of green trees near the ocean, every experience becomes a story worth remembering. Sharing those moments with family and friends makes them even more meaningful.
Among all my dreams, one holds a special place in my heart—to donate blood and help save someone's life. It's one of the simplest acts of kindness, yet it has the power to give another person a second chance. I've always believed that the greatest achievements aren't measured by wealth or success, but by the lives we touch along the way.
Above all, I dream of a world where kindness is stronger than hatred, where people are not divided by borders, race, language, or religion, and where peace becomes a way of life. A world where friendships matter more than differences, and every person has the freedom to explore, learn, and live without fear.
Some of my childhood dreams have already become reality. Many are still waiting for their time. And a few may remain dreams forever.
But that's okay.
Because dreams give us direction. They remind us to keep moving forward, to believe in the impossible, and to become a better version of ourselves every single day.
What were your childhood dreams? And are you still chasing them today?
